Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat

The Canberra Philharmonic Society presents Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. The show is based on the 'Coat of Many Colours' story of the Book of Genesis and tells the story of Joseph who, through the jealousy of his brothers due to his ownership of a coat given to him by his father, is sold to the Ishmaelites. The show incorporates music ranging from disco, western Caribbean and Elvis-inspired songs. This is the second musical written by Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice.
